Owner / Designer / Clinical Lead: Michael Ayres VanLaanen, Pharm.D, BCPS, CACP
Early on Michael discovered a love for designing pharmacy software that is intuitive for pharmacists, providing a lot of information for the minimum of work. He was an intern at Swedish Medical Center in Seattle while completing his pharmacy degree at the University of Washington, then Lead of Anticoagulation Services for the Community Health Association of Spokane, and is currently a hospital pharmacist at EvergreenHealth in Kirkland, WA.

John Riley graduated from the University of Washington PharmD program in 2012. He has worked as a pharmacist at Care Health Solutions Pharmacy in Lacey, WA as well as at Swedish Medical Center in Seattle. Along with a pharmacy degree, John earned a Bachelor's of Music in Piano Performance and continues to make appearances performing piano music in the Seattle metro area.

Kiana completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Washington Bothell majoring in Biology and receiving double minors in Chemistry and Neuroscience. She has been an early leader among peers as the Pre-Pharmacy Chair of the Pre-Health Society Club and the President of the Biology Club at the University of Washington Bothell. Kiana aims to begin her studies in the PharmD program in Fall of 2021, and is currently working as a pharmacy assistant at CVS Pharmacy.

Medication must be taken correctly for the therapy to be safe and effective. takewithfood.org provides access to the takewithfood database of edited but complete and concise information from the FDA on the administration and handling of oral medications in brief, patient-friendly, and clinician-level formats. It also provides a simple account system to remember a medication list for future reference.
